Restaurant “Gutenbergs terase” is located on a small cobbled street Mūku, on the 5th floor of the in the boutique hotel “Gutenbergs”. The Solims family has been working in this historic building for almost 30 years, and the restaurant on the roof of this building - for more than 15 years. After reconstruction in 2016, this restaurant is the only one in Riga, where you can enjoy the magic of the towers of the Old Town all year round. In the winter season (from November to February) there is a fireplace room with 40 places, and in the summer (from March to October) it is able to accommodate guests in a number of 80-90 people. Our season begins with the first rays of the sun and continues until the first snow. Walls made of Glass along the terrace, a sliding roof and a fireplace with additionally installed heaters are helping us keeping the place warm without loss of the astonishing view. Also, we are proud of many well-deserved awards, such as the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2017, the Baltic Wine list 2018 award (Best Wine List among Hotel Restaurants in Latvia) and participation in the 30 best restaurants in Latvia, where we occupy the honorable 18th place. Energetic chef Ingus Felmanis offers excellent grilled dishes, and the friendly staff always welcomes you with hospitality and a smile.
